The Mirrored
The Mirrored
Mask-wearing anti-corp leakers. They distribute damaging corp documents, recordings, and case files on smart-paper — leaks land as physical sheets at street kiosks, on walls, in the hands of strangers across the Beltway and the bay. The mask is identity discipline. Nobody in The Mirrored is publicly known.
Role in the world
The Mirrored makes corp atrocity unprofitable to hide. Every leak shifts the political calculus; enough leaks reshape what corps think they can do quietly. The faction does not seek to govern — only to make hiding impossible.
Their tactics: verified leaks; smart-paper distribution with built-in viralization (sheets reproduce themselves once activated by the right cue); plausible-deniability sourcing protocols; coordinated drops timed to Lavender Troupe performances and Sankofa academic conferences. They refuse cash transactions.
Membership is practice-defined. If you mask, leak, and protect the source, you're Mirrored. No central roster. No initiation. The structure is the discipline.
Public faces
- Mirrored operators are anonymous by design. They appear as masked figures, and you may come to know a voice or a posture across encounters — never a name.
Allies and friction
- Allies: the Lavender Troupe; the Free Stack; the Sankofa Collective; the Cryptographers
- Enemies: Argus Communications (every leak is an Argus failure); the Auditors (leaks build their cases backward); the Spiral Hunt (the patron list is the Hunt's existential vulnerability)
Where they operate
Nowhere and everywhere. The Mirrored has no facility, no office, no fixed venue. They surface where corp atrocity needs publishing.
