Easy 5-Minute Gravy
An easy all-purpose 5-minute gravy recipe perfect for turkey, chicken, or beef. Use this method to make the most flavorful gravy ever!
Ingredients
- 2 cups chicken, beef, vegetable, or turkey stock
- 2 beef or chicken bouillon cubes
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine stock and bouillon cubes in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 1 minute and stir. Repeat until bouillon dissolves completely.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add flour, onion powder, thyme, sage, and rosemary; cook for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in the prepared stock until smooth, then bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to simmer and cook while whisking until thickened, approximately 1 minute.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
Notes
If pan drippings are available, use those and add stock to reach 2 cups total.
