Dreams to Achieve

Authors

I recently finished reading Randy Pausch’s The Last Lecture. It’s an interesting read and it’s the inspiration for this post. I haven’t had time to view the actual lecture yet (I have enough lectures to watch for college) but it is something I plan on doing in the near future. Pausch considers himself fortunate for he was able to achieve most of his childhood dreams. So as sort of a checklist for myself I thought I’d share my list.

Design my own home.
Work for Apple, Inc.
Work on a computer game.
Start a charity in honor of my family.
Adopt a child.
Find my birth mother.
Run for a political office.
Own season tickets for the Baltimore Orioles.
Fly an airplane.
Write a piece of software for the gaming community.

They aren’t in any particular order. About half of them are from my early teen years and the other half are from my time in college. Over the next few days I’ll talk about each one in detail.
